Gold link jewelry is gold textile as jewelry - well that's how I think about my particular fascination with gold link. Obviously I'm a textile lover as I've devoted my design business to bending, sewing and musing over leather textiles. Solid gold forged into slinky chains is another chapter in my oohing and aahing over beautiful pliable yet strong constructions.

Delicate 1963 double-link solid 18k gold bracelet
A sweet one!! Delicate Swedish gold bracelet is now available.
The shape of these individually handmade links is what caught my eye. Each link is slightly elongated which gives the chain pattern an elegant undulating rhythm. It's the sort of subtle shaping that would never be machine made.
This link type is called a double-link. Pairs of links run side by side - like two curb chains delicately soldered, link by link, to form a double length of links.
Piece is 18k solid gold and weighs 6.5 grams, measures 7.5 inches, and links are 3/16" wide (5mm). Marked for carat, maker, year and location. Triple crown hallmark for Sweden.
Box clasp with two safety loops fastens perfectly.
